Let go of anxiety
This course of six hypnosis sessions is aimed at helping you navigate this challenging period with grace and serenity.
Within each of us, there is a place of stillness and calm. Learning to connect to that place allows us to connect to the calm that is within us, enabling us to stay secure and serene in any situation.
Relaxing the body and focusing inwards. Leaving the body to rest, taking your mind on a journey to a place of stillness. Visualising being calm and peaceful in a storm.
Returning to that place of stillness. Going into a deep relaxation. Creating a sensory anchor to being deeply relaxed. Visualising using sensory anchor to create relaxation in every day settings.
Ten step down to deep relaxation. Opening a door into subconscious and visualising inner mental space. Rearranging mental space to make more room for positive, nurturing, reassuring images and thoughts. Visualising positive outcomes.
Using the breath to enter a state of relaxation. Learning to switch from anxious to relaxed by taking your mind in and out of place of stillness. Visualising feeling confident and in control.
Using sounds to create a state of inner relaxation. Deepening that relaxation with a tactile anchor, such as touching your wrist. Identifying ideas created by the pandemic that trigger anxiety and beginning to transform those ideas.
Learning to bring attention downwards and slowing the wheel of thoughts. Creating a strong core idea that represents resilience. Bringing that idea to the centre of your mindspace and allowing it to inform and replace ideas that create anxiety. Returning to place of stillness and reinforcing feelings of security and confidence.
Each session lasts 45 minutes.
You should be lying down in a place where you will not be disturbed as you listen to the session on earphones. There will be an opportunity to interact with me and the other participants for a short time after each session, if you so wish.

Being zen at the dentist
Let go of the fear of injections
This group hypnosis course is aimed at those who have a fear of needles and injections. Our objective is to enable you to have an injection or a blood test with relative ease.
As well as four group sessions, this course includes one individual session with me prior to the course.
Learning to use hypnosis to relax. Visualising a special place where you are calm and relaxed. Creating the possibility in your mind of feeling relaxed while having an injection or a blood test. Taking a first step in letting go of the fear of needles.
Returning to that place of relaxation. Visualising letting go of your fear. Relaxing deeper. Bringing that physical and mental relaxation to the idea of having an injection or blood test.
Learning to switch between the place of relaxation in your mind and being elsewhere. Visualising feeling calm and relaxed whilst having an injection or a blood test.
Letting go of fear of needles and creating a new mental reality of being at ease with injections and blood tests. Visualising going to an appointment for an injection and feeling calm and serene from beginning to end.
Each session lasts 60 minutes. There are four group sessions plus one individual session prior to the group sessions.
For the individual session, you should be sitting in front of your webcam in a comfortable armchair or on a bed, with your head supported.
For the group sessions, you should be lying down comfortably, on a bed or a couch, preferably listening to the session on headphones.
Please make sure you are in a place where you will not be disturbed.

Be zen at the dentist
Going to the dentist is not always an easy experience. For many, it is one that can trigger anxiety or foreboding. Often, patients lie in the dentist’s chair feeling tense or nervous, sometimes fidgeting or being unable to relax, making the experience all the more harder, for both dentist and patient.
There is another way! This group hypnosis course uses a visit to the dentist as an example of how to use hypnosis to stay calm and relaxed in a situation that triggers anxiety.
Learning to use hypnosis to relax body and mind. Creating a safe special place in your mind.
Learning to relax deeply and creating a sensory anchor to that level of relaxation. Creating an association between the sounds of a dental consultation and feeling calm.
Creating a character to represent your anxiety and making that character your friend. Visualising being calm during a dental consultation.
Learning to switch between being in dentist’s chair and in place of calm in your mind. Visualise being entirely calm during dental consultation.
Each session lasts 60 minutes.
You should be lying down in a place where you will not be disturbed as you listen to the session on earphones. There will be an opportunity to interact with me and the other participants for a short time after each session, if you so wish. I will adapt the sessions depending on the participants and their needs.
